Liberare Expressio

The creatives in the neighborhood you wish you’d known earlier.

What began as a rehearsal spot for Niko, Michael, Dominic, and Chris became a place people call the Stu. Since 2017 it has been the origin point for bands on Miami’s rock scene — starting with Namahage, the first project from Niko, Dom, and Chris.

In early 2021, Bird Check formed between Brandon Paz, Michael Cooper, Stephen Nuñez, and Nikolas Sepe after the first three started writing in Michael’s living room during lockdown. Michael already knew Namahage; he brought Nikolas in on drums. Gigs followed in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Gainesville, and Fort Myers. As the friend groups merged, so did the bands: ParaDos, San Francisco & the Birds, Last Night Out, and more.

Room Perk was founded by Nikolas Sepe, Michael Cooper, and Keenan Manresa. The Room has served Miami–Doral since 2021 as home studio for Void Ranger, NZA, ST!K, H.O.P, Mike Dece, Mutant Theory, and whoever is brave enough to book the next night.

As artists we used to wonder what it would be like to have a room where friends could come do cool stuff together. Room Perk is that. We have been through production, marketing, design, branding, and event hosting. We want you to leave satisfied — and impatient for the next step.
